Abstract

(Cell 184, 2212–2228.e1–e12; April 15, 2021) Our paper reported soluble ACE2-mediated cell entry of SARS-CoV-2. We have identified three errors in the manuscript. The first error is in Figure 2E, where the p value should be 0.01, not 0.001. This same error also appears in the text of the Results section that mentions Figure 2E. The second error is in Figures 2F, 3D, and S2, where the y-axes should be labeled “Percentage of Infectivity” rather than “Percentage of Inhibition.” The third error is in the top panels of Figures 4D and 4E (0 h post-inoculation), where the green signal refers to the expression of AT1, not AVPR1B. Finally, in the Graphical Abstract, we should have used more generic representations of cACE2, ACE2 sheddase, vasopressin, AT1, and AVPR1B so as to avoid unnecessary confusion. The errors and images used in the Graphical Abstract do not affect the results in the paper or the interpretation of the data. We apologize for any confusion these errors may have caused.
